Iborra Hnos. has its origins in the small family business, Frutas Julio Iborra. Its beginnings date back to 1945, making us the oldest active company in the sector on the island of Ibiza.

Its first facilities were a small stall in the old market of Ibiza, managed in those years by Julián and Pepita (the grandparents). Later, they moved to commercial premises in Figueretas, where the management was taken over by Julio Iborra (the father). It was during this period that the business truly grew and flourished, establishing a reputation as a service and quality company, especially in the hospitality sector, being pioneers in introducing the commercialization of new trends for modern cuisine on the island (Exotics, tropicals, 4th range, sprouts, or minis, among others).

Beginnings of Iborra Hnos in the old market of Ibiza

Mr. Julio Iborra passes the baton to his children Julián and Gloria, who are backed by great experience not only in the field of fruits and vegetables but also in the global food distribution industry. In 1994, alongside the fruit and vegetable business, they founded Iborra Hnos Distribution.

Thus, Iborra Hnos. Distribution has been exclusively marketing top-brand food products for almost 30 years for the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.
